Versatility

The house is located only 450 meters from the North Sea in Klitmøller, which in 2019 was placed on Travel + Leisure’s 50 best places to travel in 2020.

The village is widely known as the capital of Cold Hawaii. The latter refers to the west coast in Thisted Municipality, which is recognized as one of the best places for wind- and kitesurfing wave performance, surfing, and SUP-surfing in Northern Europe. 

The village is home to Cold Hawaii Surfcamp and Westwind Klitmøller, which are some of the best surf schools in the country. Cold Hawaii Unlimited offers a range of outdoor activities. There are a plethora of walking and running tracks near the village. Decent mountain bike tracks can also be found close by. 

The village is surrounded by Thy National Park and as such magnificent mostly protected nature and wildlife. Just north of the village, Hanstholm Nature Reserve is located. The reserve is Denmark's most extensive and consists of dunes covered with heather as far as the eye can see. 

In March-April, one can be lucky to see cranes dancing and trumpeting in the ponds. The reserve is also one of the best places in Denmark to see red deer. In the late summer, up to 400 animals can gather.
